BROUWERIJ BOON ‘FRAMBOISE’ |12|
Framboise Lambic – 12oz – 5% ABV – Halle, Belgium
“A young fruit lambic that pours a dark red with a light to moderate pink head. Top fermented with the wild airborne yeasts specific to Belgium’s Senne region (This is where De La Senne is also based and named after). More than 300g/l of real raspberries are added to the brew maturation process resulting in a complex, full bodied ale that allows the fruit to take center stage. Strong aromas of raspberry, cherry and a note of vinegar give way to a flavor profile that charts a similar course. The fruit esters are tart, yet perfectly balanced by soft acidity and fine carbonation, all leading to a finish that is crisp and dry with just a hint of sweetness. Raspberry lambic was once a rarity and only produced for a few weeks during the summer. Frank Boon was the first brewer to again prepare a raspberry lambic in the summer of 1976.”
DOVETAIL BREWING ‘VIENNA LAGER’ |6|
Vienna Lager – 16oz – 5% ABV – Chicago, Illinois
